Michael D. Educational and Experience

Mr. Imfeld attended Ohio State University, graduating with a B.A. cum laude in 1972. He attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 1977. While in law school he served as Judicial Extern to the Honorable Joseph G. Kennedy. After graduation, he was selected to serve as a Judicial Staff Attorney for the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District in San Francisco, from 1977 to 1979.

Since leaving the Court of Appeal, he has engaged in a litigation practice.  Since 1992, that practice has focused on Lending Law, Real Estate, Contract Disputes and related Litigation.

He was admitted to the Bar for the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in December of 1977. He has also been admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California. He is listed in Who's Who in American Law, Second Edition.
